5 gallon bucket grow table
Method for building a table which can hold 5 gallon growing containers
Initial wood list:
(1) 4x4x8
(5) 2x4x8
(3) Fence Boards 6” x 5/16” x 8’ long
Cut Wood
(4) 4x4 24 inches
(4) 2x4 8 feet
(4) 2x4 23 inches
(1) 2x4 13 inches
(12) fence boards 18 inches
(2) fence boards 16 inches
3 inch screws, 2 inch screws
Assembly
1. gather end pieces together (4 sections 4x4 x 24 inches and 4 sections of 2x4 23 inches)
2. mark 4x4 pieces 10 inches from the top and draw a straight line. This is where the top of the second row of 2x4 boards is attached at
3. put together one end piece at a time. Attach 2x4 sections to the 4x4 posts. One at the very top and one with the top of the 2x4 at 10 inches down from the top of the 4x4 post
4. set two end pieces on their sides
5. set 2x4’s which are 8’ long in. Attach one side at a time
6. set 13 inch 2x4 stabilizer bar at the halfway mark (approximately 48”) and attach
7. set 2 16” fence boards on ends of deck
8. set 12 18” fence boards on deck and space them approximately 1.5”, using a piece of 2x4 as a guide
9. attached fence boards to deck with 2” screws
