The chemistry is complicated so I won’t get into those details here. The bottom line is that Cruciferous vegetables contain significant amounts with the microgreen stage of growth containing the most useable form of Sulforaphane. Cruciferous vegetables include:

Arugula, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Kale, Mustard, Radish, and Turnips. I will post guides to growing some of these as microgreens, in the future so please stay tuned.

Here is Dr. Berg breaking this down in a youtube video:

Walter Chestnut just posted an excellent article on sulforaphane which can be found here:
<div class="embedded-post-wrap" data-attrs="{"id":149173049,"url":"https://wmcresearch.substack.com/p/friday-hope-sulforaphane-remarkable","publication_id":770713,"publication_name":"WMC Research","publication_logo_url":null,"title":"Friday Hope: Sulforaphane: Remarkable Radical Scavenging Ability and SARS-CoV-2 Inhibition","truncated_body_text":"Comparison of capacity to induce NQO1 by a range of phytochemicals, indicating that SFN exhibits many-fold greater inducer ability (data compiled from Yang and Liu [168] and Fahey and Kensler, 2008).","date":"2024-09-20T19:34:27.665Z","like_count":47,"comment_count":11,"bylines":[{"id":79603717,"name":"Walter M Chesnut","handle":"wmcresearch","previous_name":null,"photo_url":"https://bucketeer-e05bbc84-baa3-437e-9518-adb32be77984.s3.amazonaws.com/public/images/2825ab11-fad5-48e1-9931-ed136e997327_400x400.jpeg","bio":"The only compensation I receive for my research is via donation.
